Wren Cottages Terms & Conditions

Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of the agreed deposit.

The balance of the total cost must be paid before or on arrival.

Payment should be made to Mrs D. weymouth and sent to the address shown on the booking form.  payment can be made by  Bank Transfer and Paypal  Bank charges incurred by overseas payments will be billed to the customer.

Cancellation.

Any cancelation must be sent to Mrs D Weymouth in writing by the person who signed the booking form.  The effective date of the cancellation will be the date the written instructions are received.

If the booking is cancelled by the customer the following charges will be made:- More than 60 days before the commencement of the holiday —Refund of Deposit less admin charge of £15

Cancellation within 30 -60 days before the commencement of the holiday — The deposit will be refunded if we are able to re book the accommodation. However, for holidays cancelled within 30 days of commencement, if the owners are able not refund the deposit.

To avoid cancellation losses please consider taking out holiday insurance.

In the unlikely event that the cottages cease to be available for the period booked, the owners will endeavor to arrange alternative accommodation of a similar type.  If this is not acceptable to the holiday maker all monies will be refunded whereupon all liabilities of the property owner will cease.

The cottages are used as holiday accommodation and are therefore exempt from security of tenure under the rent act.

The number of persons using the accommodation shall not exceed the maximum number as per the brochure unless by prior arrangement.

Subletting, sharing or assignment is not permitted unless also by prior arrangement. Holiday makers responsibilities.

The holiday maker is responsible for the property during the whole period of rental and is expected to take reasonable care of it.

All equipment, utensils etc must be left clean and tidy at the end of the period.  In the unfortunate event of damage or breakage the owners must be notified.  All damages and breakages are legal responsibility of the holiday maker and their replacement cost will be payable on demand.

The holiday maker is expected to leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness, general repair and order in which is was found.

The owners shall allow access to the cottages at any reasonable time during the ! holiday tenancy. The owners cannot accept any liability for any loss, damage or expense sustained by any member of the holiday makers party in connection with the holiday accommodation.  Holiday makers are reminded that the cottages are on a working farm and children must be kept under supervision at all times.

Every precaution is taken to ensure an enjoyable holiday, however in the unlikely event of any complaints please report to the owners without delay.
